- Steam Trains
A steam locomotive is a railway locomotive that produces its pulling power through a steam engine. These locomotives are fueled by burning combustible material, usually coal, wood or oil, to produce steam in a boiler, which drives the steam engine. Both fuel and water supplies are carried with the locomotive, either on the locomotive itself or in wagons (tenders) pulled behind.
Did you know that these trains were the first trains created in the world.Created by Gorge Stephenson and Richard Trevithick. They created their first train in the 1813. People were really satisfied by his creation. although first they could run by only by 30km/h. They increased very fast now a days we can see that trains can reach about 600km/h.
- Diesel Trains
A diesel locomotive is a type of railway locomotive in which the prime mover is a diesel engine. Several types of diesel locomotive have been developed, differing mainly in the means by which mechanical power is conveyed to the driving wheels (drivers).
they used to run about 80 km/h but now they run about 200 km/h. They are fast and simple, you can go to your destination really fast. for example we can see. A town is 200 km away and if they run by 200 km/h you can just go to the town in just one hour.

Bullet trains
- Shinkansen
These trains are the fastest trains in the world right now but they are only at Japan. There are some similar trains in the europe "eurostar" but they are not as fast as Shinkansen. The newest trains of shinkansen are very fast about 580 km/h.
Nowadays the creators of shinkansen are trying to create a train that can reach speed of 700 km/h.
